WORLD LANGUAGE PROGRAM – PLACEMENT EXAMS

Students must take the Spanish Placement Exam or the French Placement Exam in order to place into an Honors Level I, Honors Level II, or Honors Level III Spanish or French course. To do so, please select one of the options below.  

Students may elect to study Italian I. Placement into Honors Italian I is possible and is determined at the end of the first quarter freshman year and is based on academic achievement during the first quarter, as well as prior language arts testing. Any student seeking to be placed into Italian II Honors or higher, please contact Dr. Elizabeth Pease at epease@msjnet.edu. 

The World Language Placement Exams will be taken online during two open windows: from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, through 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, or from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5 through 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. The exams are designed to be completed within an hour.
