Thank you for trusting ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC (AOTS) to assist with your tax affairs. This letter confirms the terms of our engagement and the nature/extent of services we will provide.

We will prepare your 2023 FEDERAL and LA STATE (if required) Income Tax Return(s) using the following information you provide to us. RTP acknowledges that information submitted to ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC to prepare tax return(s) can be substantiated by receipts, canceled checks and other documentation. ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC does not audit or use any procedures to discover defalcation or other irregularities. The only analysis work we will do is that which is necessary for preparation of your tax return.

The law imposes penalties when businesses understate their tax liability. If you have concerns about such penalties, please advise us. RTP understands that in the event of an audit, RTP is responsible for gathering all necessary information for the audit. ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC is available to represent and assist putting such information together for the IRS or any state at the then current rate.

RTP understand they are responsible for the information provided to prepare the tax return and hold ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC harmless for any misrepresentation of information that RTP has provided to ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC that result in additional tax, interest and/or penalties assessed by any Federal/State agency. If a dispute arises out of or related to this engagement or the obligations of the parties therein and if any dispute cannot be settled through negotiation, the parties agree first to try in good faith to settle any dispute by mediation.

Disputes between ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC and RTP or Business must be filed and handled in Acadia Parish, Louisiana at each party's own expense. RTP understands the maximum resolution will not exceed ½ the cost paid for tax preparation services paid to Alpha Omega Tax Service LLC.

All information provided is truthful and accurate. RTP has read and accepts this engagement agreement with AOTS and has reviewed AOTS privacy policy located at lovemytaxlady.com. RTP has legal authority to represent the listed business.

RTP Initial* ANY changes to the members/owners or address of business must be updated on the BOI within 30 days. ($500 fine for failure to file this information) RTP must notify AOTS within 10 days of these changes. AOTS is NOT responsible for any fines received for failure to report these changes if we are not notified within 10 days of the change. Any required reporting change will be charged the then current rate.
RTP Initial* Tax Prep Fees are due when the tax return is completed. NO tax return will be filed until fees are paid in full. Should taxpayer not complete the return, taxpayer will be billed for an estimate based on time and complexity of work completed by Alpha Omega Tax Service LLC.
RTP Initial* Bookkeeping and Estimates are NOT included in Tax Prep fees and are billed separately. Unpaid invoices will be submitted for collection.
RTP Initial* A copy of business tax return will be provided upon completion and payment. We suggest that you store this in a safe, secure place. ALPHA OMEGA TAX SERVICE LLC retains our copies for 3 years. Requests for additional copies of business return will be subject to a $75 fee per year/instance.
