How do you get your art in the show?

Once your artwork is complete, please:

Fill out this online registration form. Then, pick up your canvas and drop off your artwork at Cornerstone Framing, 9369 Mill St, Chilliwack, BC V2P 4N2.

Deadline to drop off art: May 15, 2024

Reception & Buying Night: June 7, 2024 | 7-10pm | Ticketed | 19+

Exhibit open for public viewing: June 8 - June 29, 2024

REQUIREMENTS

• Artists must be 16 years or older.
• The artist's name must be written clearly on the BACK of the canvas.
• Pick up a canvas at Cornerstone Framing.
• The artwork must be 8 x 8 inches exactly. 
• Most mediums are acceptable as long as they meet the size criteria. 
• All artwork must be hung on the wall.
• Artists don't have to be local to Chilliwack.
• Each artist can submit a maximum of three (3) pieces – CCAC will exhibit at least one (1) of each artist's pieces.
• Please do not do series work; pieces will be hung randomly throughout the gallery.
• The number of pieces each artist displays will depend on the total number of submissions.
• Artist names are revealed when a piece is purchased.
• Please DO NOT sign the front of your piece(s). Pieces that are signed on the front will not be hung.
• Artists are encouraged to title each piece.
• Please write the piece's title on the back of the canvas. Untitled pieces will be referred to as "Untitled."

What Do Artists Get for Participating?

• Participating artists receive a complimentary one-year Chilliwack Arts Council membership ($25 value).
• Free entry to the June 7 event ($20 value)
• Each artist may receive 50% of the revenue from each piece sold, with the remainder contributed to the fundraiser. If you prefer to donate the total amount, CCAC will issue you a charitable tax receipt per piece sold.
• Artists will be promoted through social media and in the program guide.

You can pick up a canvas at Cornerstone Framing. Canvases are $10 each and are available from March 15 until May 15 or until they are sold out.

1. The artist agrees to sign their work on the back only; no names or initials are to be included on the front of any artwork submitted to this show.

2. The artist agrees to display their work(s) during the full contract term (June 7 - June 29, 2024). CCAC reserves the right to shorten or lengthen the exhibition period at its discretion.

3. The artist must adhere to the specified drop-off time no later than May 15, 2024.

4. The artist will provide supporting documentation, including labels, biographical information, and personal contact and payment details.

5. Each participating artist will receive a complimentary CCAC membership* ($25 value) and 50% per piece sold OR a charitable tax receipt of equivalent value.

6. The artist will NOT complete the direct sale of any Anonymous Art Show work during the commissionable sales period (June 7 - June 28, 2024). The artist will direct all sales of the artwork displayed at Cornerstone Framing. CCAC will be responsible for all sales. CCAC will complete the final reconciliation within thirty (30) days after the exhibition's conclusion.

7. The artist will pick up any unsold pieces by the end of the day on Tuesday, July 5, 2024. Any unsold pieces not collected by this date will be considered donations to CCAC.

8. The Artist agrees to act as a CCAC and the arts community ambassador when participating and showing in Chilliwack Arts Council events. By participating, the artist agrees to conduct themselves positively and be supportive.
