  • HIS Radio Events Team Volunteer Agreement

  • Shift Hours

    • Shift hours will vary per event, will be indicated on the event specific sign-up form, and will be communicated to you in advance of your arrival. 
    • We need a commitment for all volunteers to arrive on time as per the event volunteer shift hours and to remain the entire shift time, unless released early by your supervisor.
    • If circumstances arise the day of the event that prevent you from arriving on time – we will do our best to find a volunteer position for you. However, we cannot guarantee that we will have a volunteer position available at that time.

  • Assigned Work Area

    • All work areas and assignments will be announced at the event upon your arrival.
    • We will do our best to assign all volunteers to their preferred work areas, but it may be necessary to place you in a different duty.
    • We are unable to guarantee any requests to be assigned to the same work area as someone else who is volunteering.

  • Volunteer Conduct

    • While volunteering, you will be representing the ministry of HIS Radio. We ask all volunteers to conduct themselves in a positive manner at all times and to conduct interactions and activities solely within the scope explained by the supervisor.
    • Our listeners and the general public are our primary focus at all events. We ask that all volunteers focus their attention to the event guests, the duties assigned, and to avoid "huddling" and socializing in ways that may hinder efficient service.

  • Your Supervisor

    • We are extremely grateful for your willing assistance. During the evening you will be considered a HIS Radio Events Team Volunteer, however you may be assigned to a task in which you will be directed by someone from the event Tour Management or host facility.

  • During the Event

    • We need all volunteers to remain with their assigned volunteer position throughout their assigned shift.
    • Instructions will be given regarding any possible opportunities to step into the show and will vary depending upon assigned position.
    • We ask that you remain diligent to the task you're assigned, even if it seems there's "nothing going on" at the time.

  • What to Wear

    • T-shirt to be supplied by HIS Radio. 
    • Comfortable shoes.
    • No alterations are to be made to the T-shirt.
