    All volunteers require a current Working with Childrens Check (WWCC). Voluntary WWCC are free to apply for.

  • You are required to view the volunteer induction slideshow to volunteer at Armadale Primary School. It covers the following points:

    • Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy
    • Required conduct/behaviour
    • Security access arragements/Traffic Management Plan
    • Introduction to First Aid Officers and location of first aid kits/room
    • Location of emergancy evacuation plans for your area
    • Location of emergency exits
    • Introduction to workplace wardens/incident controller
    • Location of amenities
    • Location of Chemical Register and associated Safety Data Sheets
    • Information on hazard and incident report process
    • Viewed and understood the PROTECT Victoria's Child Safe Volunteer Standards training
    • Current school Asbestos Management Plan and Divison 5 Audit Report
    • Introduction to School Asbestos Coordinator

  • Personal Goods Brought to School at Owner's Risk

  • The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development does not hold insurance, nor does it accept responsibility for private property brought to school by students, staff and visitors. This can include electronic equipment, mobile phones, toys, sporting equipment, bikes and cars parked on school premises.

    The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development will, in most cases, not pay for any loss or damage to such property. Staff and students are discouraged from bringing and unnecessary and/or valuable items to school.
