Thanks for your interest in applying for an In-Person Collaboration Meeting grant!

In-Person Collaboration Meeting Grants provide $500 to $3000 to foster stronger connections among Circles that are geographically nearby, as well as Circles that share a common interest.

Grant applications must have a Project Director and one or more Co-Directors representing different Math Circles. Funds will be awarded to the host institution of the Project Director’s Math Circle.

Priority deadlines are quarterly: 3/31, 6/30, 9/30, 11/15, with notification two weeks later. Please apply for a deadline that falls at least one month before your proposed meeting.

Describe your plans for the In-Person Collaboration Meeting grant. What are the goals of the proposed meeting? When and where will it take place? Which Circles will be involved? What sorts of activities do you envision engaging in during your time together? *
Provide a timetable, requested budget (from $500 to $3000), and budget justification for your project. Allowable expenses include meals or per diem, stipends, materials (copies, classroom supplies, etc.), travel, and/or promotional materials such as t-shirts and mugs. No funds are to be used to cover overhead or administrative costs.*
