Fibre Experience will showcase British wool products at the 2024 event, featuring talks, films, and workshops. The focus is on natural fibers, holistic agriculture, and sustainability. The event includes displays of wool innovations like acoustic drapes, insulation, packaging, carpets, bedding, and more. The main hub is at the newly refurbished Horseshoe Barns, with traders, a café, bar, and seating around a nature pond. Visitors can attend talks, films, workshops, and farm walks throughout the day. The event, held at Fernhill Farm during the Spring 2024 Blade Sheering season, offers a chance to observe top blade shearers and select fleece in a 4-stand sheep sheering shed.

Stallholders at the Fibre Experience event are encouraged to participate because it provides a unique platform to showcase products that align with our commitment to sustainability and authenticity. We prioritise items that are real, regenerative, organic, local, natural, and native, aiming for at least 95% compliance. Stallholders are expected to align with these guidelines to contribute to our mission of promoting responsible and sustainable consumption.

 

Pitches available 

INSIDE PITCHES

The Horseshoe Barns are a cosy, warm and watertight space. There are limited pitches available which willbe offered on a first come, first served basis.

The Sheering Shed and Agricultural Sheds are both inside spaces, with a little less cosyniess and woodchip floors. 

OUTSIDE PITCHES

There is unlimited space available outside - Please note outside spaces are not covered and you must bring your own cover (gazebo) for inclement weather
