  • An exeat is any time a boarder spends away from the school campus during the official term dates. This can include requests for day visits or overnight visits. Please be aware that for an exeat to be granted students must be supervised by a responsible adult, over the age of 25 , who will act in loco parentis for the duration of the requested exeat and is responsible for the student from the time they leave the school campus until the time they return to the school campus.

  • Please provide details below of the supervising adult who will act in loco parentis of the student for the duration of the exeat

  • Please be aware that for an exeat to be granted to a student to attend a party the following must be in place :
    - the student is staying overnight at an alternative venue to where the party was hosted.
    - confirmation from a responsible adult that there will be adult supervision at the party for the duration of the time.
    - confirmation from the party host that they understand that students under the age of 18 at the party are their responsibility.
    - confirmation of whether there will be alcohol at the party - this will be communicated to the parents of the exeating boarder.

    The above will be confirmed by the Head of Boarding.

  • Statement


    In line with our school exeat policy, please be aware that students who are granted exeats will be the full responsibility of the hosting parents for the duration of their stay. The hosting parents will be in loco parentis of the student from the time they leave the school site until the time they return. Houseparents,will of course, be available to contact for support during this time, but the student will not be able to return to the boarding house until the agreed time.
