    Have Fun & Learn Compressive Aspects of Comic Book Art through intensive class modules, classes are creative and impactful. Class trips included.  5 classes per day. 

    ·         Weekly Camp Session 1 - June 9, 2024 to June 13, 2025

    ·         Weekly Camp Session 2 - June 16, 2024 to June 20, 2025 – Class Trip

    ·         Weekly Camp Session 3 - June 23, 2024 to June 27, 2025

    ·         Weekly Camp Session 4 - June 30, 2024 to July 3, 2025 – Class Trip

    Daily Scheduled Classes (class agenda repeats, varies slightly for continuous enrolled students)

    9:15 -10:15 am - Principles in inking comics. Color theory class – techniques for finishing pencils

         1:05 -1:45 – Media Storyboarding & Story development Class

  • PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE: I/we, the undersigned, consent for my/our minor child/ward to participate in the programs sponsored by Amario's Art Academy. In consideration of my/our child’s/ward’s participation in the program I/we hereby agree(s) to assume all the risks and hazards incidental to said participation and do further agree(s) to release, absolve, indemnify and otherwise hold harmless Amario's Art Academy for the Gifted and Talented, its employees, administrators, agents and assigns and others who assist the above, for any loss, damages or personal injuries that I, said child/ward may receive as a result of such participation.     PHOTO RELEASE: By signing below, I give permission to Amario's Art Academy for the Gifted and Talented to use my name and photographic likeness for purposes of documentation and marketing of program activities in newsletters, brochures and other publications and media. Parent Handbook - I have read or will read a local current copy of the Academy Parent Handbook.

    MEDICAL CONSENT: I understand that there are some risks inherent in the activities that are included in the Program, but willingly assume these risks in order to allow me, my child/ward to participate and I give permission for any emergency medical care or treatment by a physician, surgeon, hospital, nurse, doctor’s assistant, or medical care facility that may be required.

  • Classes offered - Intro to Animation AN01INT-LIVE

    This class meets every Tuesday from 5-7 pm - class starting Sept 2021. Academy students learn 2-D and 3-D software, character design, animatics, character design and modeling, Student learn aspects of the principles of animation, pose to pose, tweening, squash & stretch, scene development and more !
  • Classes offered - Advanced Animation AD01INT-LIVE

    This class meets every Monday from 5-7pm - starting September 10. 2021 Academy students learn the technical aspects of Maya 3-D software, Adobe Animate and complex character movements in an environment that is rigged, created and deployed by them. Students learn how to render and deploy their work for publication and sale. SURVIVAL TOOL KIT PURCHASE REQUIRED
  • Comic Book Foundations CBBO2-LIVE

    This class meets every Wednesday from 5-7 pm - class duration starting September 8th, 2021. Academy students learn the foundations of creating a comic character and how to pencil ink and color in the Marvel Style of comic book creation. Academy students story synopsis, character development and story boarding.
  • Drawing & Illustration LDIL01-LIVE

    This class meets every Thursday from 5-7 pm - class duration starting Sept 2021. Academy students learn basic anatomy, life drawing, gesture drawing value system by talented graduates of SCAD Atlanta, Academy instructors will teach you the value of strong drawing techniques, perfect for aspiring illustrators.

    Student Applicant: Please fill out and sign a statement of interest about what kind of art you like and why. Include why you would like to attend this academy and how attending would help you. Please include how you expect to help others through art.

  • ACADEMY TUITION & PAYMENT POLICY 

    Tuition payments must be made in advance. No proration or refunds, credits for unused payments. All sales final

    All fees must be current before attendance on any trip or event· A late charge of $20 will be applied for payments due 10 days late or more / Return Check Fee is $30 / NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS· Academy parents needing assistance for tuition must provide a plan of action of fundraising & sponsorship for his or her student. Late pickups are subject to a charge of $1.00 per minute for each minute past 9 minutes of dismissal time.· Late payments and fees must be paid immediately.  Scholarships full or partial may not last more than 1 school year· Tuition Payments are due in advance at the first of the month covering 1 month of classes, automatically renewing each month untilstudent withdrawal Class Availability - Classes require a minimum amount of students, if the minimim is not met the Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class without advance notice.If cancelation is confirmed 100% refund will be issued within 7-10 days.
