  • As a wrestler with the Crown City Wrestling Club you will be representing yourself, your family, our club, your school, NYWAY, USAWrestling, and the United States of America. The CCWC membership is a privilege, not a right, and as such the board of directors of Crown City Wrestling Club believes that each wrestler should assume the responsibility of their own behavior, and should be accountable for their actions on and off the mat. Therefore, all wrestlers shall abide by all laws, rules, and regulations of the State of New York, NYWAY, USA Wrestling, and any other state or foreign country in which the wrestler may be in with the club.

    While engaged in any practices, competitions, or other event with CCWC, including travel, each wrestler shall comply with the following prohibitions:

    1. No use of or possession of drugs deemed illegal by the State of New York

    2. No drinking of alcoholic beverages by wrestlers under the age of 21

    3. No use of tobacco products

    4. No stealing, tampering with, or destruction of belongings/property of others

    5. Always respect other athletes/coaches. To include our club and others

    6. No fighting will be tolerated, in practices or at events

    7. When females are weighing in the door will be closed. If a coach is needed to check weights a female representative will do so. 

    8. At travel tournaments for the females, a female chaperone will accompany girls in case of housing/events.


    9. Practices are open for parents/guests to watch. 

    10. Wrestlers will give 100% in practices, horseplay will not be tolerated. Wrestlers will be told to leave if they can not pay attention in practice

    11. Wrestlers will compete for Crown City Wrestling Club before competing for another club, when Crown City is competing at an event.

    12. Have a positive attitude, come to learn and support others on your club team!

    Violation of the preceding could result in the cancellation of the wrestler's membership without refund.
