The Acworth Business Association will be presenting four $1,000 scholarships available to high school students who fit the eligibility criteria. 

About Acworth Business Association
The Acworth Business Association is dedicated to supporting local business owners, educators, leaders, churches and organizations in Acworth, GA and the surrounding communities. ABA strives to create opportunities and provide resources that promote improvement and development of the businesses, churches, cities, and schools within our community. 

Award Notification and Payment
The winning scholarship recipient will be notified via email no later than April 15th. Scholarships will be awarded on May 7th at the ABA Luncheon. Scholarship payment will be made in one installment in August upon receipt of official notification of enrollment/registration for classes. Payment will be made directly to the college or university on behalf of the recipient.

Acceptance of the award constitutes permission for Acworth Business Association to use the recipient’s name in recognition as a recipient of the scholarship in the organization’s publications and announcements.

• I understand the Acworth Business Association Scholarship Selection Committee may conduct investigations related to the information provided herein and agree to hold the Committee harmless of any claims of liability resulting from these investigations.
• I understand that any false or misleading information may disqualify me from consideration for the Acworth Business Association Scholarship.
• I understand that, if awarded a scholarship, I will be required to submit proof of registration as a full-time degree seeking student at a two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the Fall 2026 semester before any award payment will be made. Furthermore, I understand and accept that failure to be properly registered can lead to revocation of the full amount of the award.
• If awarded a scholarship, and if mutually concurred, I agree to allow Acworth Business Association to use my name and picture in any newsletter, website, press release, or other lawful media in recognition as a recipient of the scholarship.
