The safety of our clients and staff is very important to us. Thus, we want to keep the best of those protocols developed during the height of the COVID pandemic to use during this time when COVID is still around as well as flu, colds, and respiratory infections. Please read this carefully and let me know if you have any questions.
General Guidelines
- If you have a fever or are sick, please do not come to the Center for an In-person session.
- Instead, if up to it, use telehealth. Your therapist has access to a HIPAA compliant version of ZOOM and will send you a link for a telehealth session. While not preferred, if you do not have access to a smartphone, tablet or computer or do not know how to use Zoom, one may use telephone. Discuss your preference with your therapist.
- If you have been exposed to COVID, please test negative before coming to see your therapist in-person.
- If you have a bout of COVID, please follow the CDC guidelines. Isolate for 5 days after you test positive ( please do not come to the Center) and wear a mask for five days after that. (If symptom free, you may come to the Center with a mask).
- The Center has a medical grade filtering system that runs 24 hours a day.
- We also encourage clients to maintain social distancing when in the waiting room.
- If a client is concerned about protecting one's health, the person may stay in the car until time for the session.
- Staff will continue to sanitize offices and equipment in their offices as needed.
- Everyone is encouraged to follow regular sanitary behaviors, such as washing hands frequently and covering mouth to contain germs from a cough or sneeze.
