2026 NJS Approved Meet(s) Application

Please submit your APPROVED meet application for meets you would like to host for the 2025-2026 season (Sept 1 2025 - Aug 31 2026).
Fee: $150 per meet. Payment can be done online.

APPROVED meets do need to be sanctioned by NJ Swimming.

Meets will not be posted on the calendar until the fee is paid. Meet Information document (utilizing the meet template) & meet event file may be submitted here or within 20 days of application submission.

You may submit up to 4 meets per application.

Minimum Officials Requirement: Clubs seeking sanction to host a meet must have, at a minimum, one (1) person in each of the following positions: a referee, starter, administrative official, and stroke and turn official currently registered and committed to officiate all sessions of the meet before a sanction is granted and prior to posting/distribution of the meet announcement.

APPROVED MEETS are conducted under the technical rules of USA-S & comply with the NJS LSC requirements of an approved meet.

Participants may include USA-S & non USA-S athletes.

All requests for APPROVED MEETS must be submitted for review & authorization by the Administrative Chair at least 60 days prior to any meet wishing approval.

$100 RUSH/EXPEDITE fee applies for any/all applications submitted within 30 days of the meet date

Once approved, the NJS Administrative Chair in conjuction with the Officials Chair will ensure that the SWIMS Time Module Policy & Guideline Manual is enforced.

Upon conculsion of the meet, FULL Meet backup Results should be submitted to the NJS Office for inclusion within the USA-S SWIMS database.

Four-hour Rule: NJS APPROVED MEETS will follow the same NJS Four Hour rule as SANCTIONED MEETS. Refer to manual part B. Competition Section 4. Session Duration "The Four Hour Rule"

The (HOST TEAM) requests that the above named meet be designated as a USA-S APPROVED MEET. We confirm that the meet will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of Article 202.4 of USA-S Rules & Regulations. In addition, an electronic FULL MEET BACKUP of the meets results will be provided within 7 days after the conclusion of competition.

IN GRANTING THIS APPROVAL IT IS UNDERSTOOD & AGREED THAT USA SWIMMING SHALL BE FREE AND HELD HARMLESS FROM ANY LIABILITIES OR CLAIMS OR DAMAGES BY REASON OF INJURIES TO ANYONE DURING THE CONDUCT OF THIS EVENT.

POST MEET REQUIREMENTS: please submit the Post Meet Requirements indicating the officials attest that the meet was carried out in accordance with ARTICLE 202.4 of USA-S Rules & Regulations. This can be printed for signatures then uploaded on line.
