Edukit Borrower Agreement
Please note that the exact borrowing period for the Edukit is based on availability and may differ from your requested dates. An Ingenium representative will contact you to confirm availability and shipping details.
Rental and transportation are covered thanks to a generous donation from the Ingenium Foundation.
The Borrower will:
• provide metrics (number of students and groups reached);
• ensure that an evaluation is completed;
• fill out a packing sheet; and
• return the kit to Ingenium immediately following the loan period.
Ingenium will:
• arrange and pay for shipping of the kit(s) to and from the partner;
• ensure that the kit(s) are fully stocked to begin the loan;
• be available for questions or support during the rental period.
Ingenium and Borrower Responsibility Details
Ingenium is responsible for shipping the Edukit(s) to the Borrower. The Borrower is responsible for preparing the Edukit(s) for return immediately following the loan period, at Ingenium’s expense.
The Borrower is advised to check for damage to the exterior of the case upon receipt. Should it be damaged the Borrower should alert Ingenium immediately. If there is damage the Borrower must take pictures without moving the damaged goods.
Once the Edukit is received, the Borrower assumes all responsibility for it. Supervision is required at all times when using the Edukit. When not in use, it is to be locked and stored in a secured area. Ingenium expects the case and its content to be returned in the condition in which it was issued Ingenium. Although it is expected that consumables will not be returned in the same quantities as delivered, other items are to be returned in working order; they may not be removed from their protective covers, mounts or bases; transported in damaged condition, taken apart, or repaired without the prior permission of Ingenium, unless otherwise indicated. The Borrower agrees to fill out the inventory checklist and include it in the case prior to its return to Ingenium.
The Borrower agrees to be responsible for the damages, losses, or theft to all materials included in the Edukits. In the event of any damage or loss, Ingenium will assess the damage, calculate the cost of materials, labour, shipping and other expenses to repair or replace the unit, and send an invoice to the Borrower for payment.
