2024 Phoebus Events Food Vendor Overview

Due to the advanced process, details are subject to change.
Vendors can update collective application if availiability changes.
All events are family-oriented, free, and open to the public.
All events are outdoor street events located on Mellen Street, Hampton, VA 23663.

1. ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION

Preference will be give to sellers whose provisions are handcrafted and not mass-produced.
Preference will be given to those who provisions are quality, unique, or align with theme.
Selection is always limited due number of spaces available per total applications received.

2. APPLICATION & FEES

Non-refundable vendor fee is $150.00 for a 10' x 10' space or $175.00 for a 10' x 20' space. Credit may be given for future event depending on circumstance.
Payment of fees is due upon acceptance.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Vendors will be notified as soon as possible.
All applications are subject to a jury process. Phoebus Events reserves the right to deny any application without explanation.

3. REQUIREMENTS

You must have an up to date business license.
You must have an up to date health permit.
You must have an up to date COI (Certificate of Insurance) with the City of Hampton (with address 22 Lincoln St, Hampton VA 23669) on your ENDORSEMENT PAGE.
Each vendor must have their own fire extinguisher present according to city fire codes.
All generators must below 65 decibels in order to participate.

4. BOOTH SETUP & BREAKDOWN

Arrival and setup times will be communicated in advance. Please adhere to them strictly.
Vendor location will be assigned by the event organizer.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, tables, chairs, materials, etc.
No electricity or water is provided.
Breakdown must be completed within the designated timeframe after the event concludes.

5. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Vendor cancellations are not subject to refunds. However, fees can be credited toward a future event of choice.
Vendor cancellations day of the event are non-creditable.
All events are rain or shine. Events may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather only.
In any case where the event organizer cancels, all booth fees will be issued a credit for a future event.

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Vendors are responsible for collecting any applicable sales tax and reporting it to the City of Hampton.
Vendors are responsible for promoting their own provisions.
