Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) will hold a Teaching Artist institute and residency program on March 6-7, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Bell Artspace Apartments Dance & Music Studio, 2100 Ursuline Ave.

Learn best practices in arts-integrated instruction from professional teaching artists and specialists and leave with the tools to be a successful artist in residence at the elementary school level.

Upon successful completion of the 2-day institute, each teaching artist will pilot a five-day residency with one class and receive a stipend of $500 (2 day Institute, 5 day residency, planning and debrief meeting)
