This monthly workshop series is led by local artist and visual arts educator Rachael Brown. The focus is on learning new processes, creating a complete project in 1 session, and having fun in an inclusive environment. All materials are included and attendees will leave with a completed project as well as skills to make more art at home. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome.

Step into the vibrant world of mixed media collage this May with our 2-hour workshop, “Spring Awakening”. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore the essence of spring through the power of collage, combining a variety of materials to create a unique and expressive work of art.

Using magazines, fabric scraps, paint, and other found objects, you'll learn how to build layers, textures, and depth to capture the spirit of the season. Whether it's blooming flowers, the burst of color in a garden, or the gentle renewal of nature, you'll discover how to express spring’s energy through creative collage techniques.
