  • LatinoBuilt is a nonprofit trade association serving Latino business owners and entrepreneurs in construction. Working with our members, partners and sponsors across Oregon and SW Washington, LatinoBuilt works to eliminate inequalities and expand opportunities for Latinos, and other underrepresented groups, in the construction industry toward a more equitable future.

  • The LatinoBuilt Board is responsible for the oversight and strategic guidance of the organization. LatinoBuilt Board members must have the ability to commit an approximate average of 4 - 8 hours each month which includes attending board meetings, committee meetings, special events and board work outside of standard board meetings.

  • As a Board member of LatinoBuilt (LB) Association, I have a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that the Association does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals. I support the mission of the Association and pledge my commitment to assist in carrying out its work.


    As a LB Board member, I will consistently act responsibly and prudently. I understand my duties to include:

    • Uphold responsibilities of nonprofit board service as stated under Oregon law.
    • Participate by consulting per expertise as requested.
    • Attendance at monthly board meetings per year, a minimum of 10 is required.
    • An annual financial contribution to the sister organization, LatinoBuilt Foundation is welcomed.
    • Active participation in one or more fundraising activities. This may include individual and/or special event solicitation, sponsorship procurement or Grant proposals.
    • Working in good faith with my fellow Board members, Executive Board and staff toward the achievement of the Association’s goals.


    Should I fail to fulfill these commitments to the Association, I understand that the Board President will call upon me to discuss my responsibilities. Should there come a time where I am no longer able to fulfill my obligations to the Association, it will be my responsibility to resign my position as a member of the Board of Directors.
