  • Welcome to Pistol Supremacy.

We are very excited to have you in this class. For most people, this class will put your skills ahead of 95% of gun owners in the world.

The Pistol 3 Class covers advanced weapon manipulation strategies and tactics. This is not a class that focuses on drawing from concealed carry. For that, check out our Covert Guardian Class.

If you are a beginner, it is recommended that you take our Pistol 1 & 2 course first, along with some additional range time. We recommend that you put at least 150 rds through your weapon at a local range, practicing mag changes, grip, and target acquisition.

*If you've taken our Pistol 1 & 2, you are most likely ready for Pistol 3.

    Equipment Needed:

    1. Pistol and 300rds of Ammo
    2. Pistol Holster and Mag Pouches
    3. Belt, gun belt, or duty belt
    4. Ear protection
    5. Eye protection
    6. Closed-Toed Shoes
    7. Sun Protection (hat, sunscreen)
    8. Pen & Notebook
    9. Chair
    10. Drinks, Lunch, Snacks
    11. Rain gear

We have gun belts to rent out ($20), which come with a universal holster, mag pouches, a tourniquet, and a dump pouch.

Special Gear recommendations (not a requirement):

    Level 1 Dedicated Retention Holster

    • Dedicated Retention Holster (lvl 1 or lvl 2):
      1. A dedicated level 1 retention holster is made for your gun specifically. It uses only friction to secure the weapon, meaning there are no latches, snaps or buttons. It is the holster that will allow you to deploy your weapon the fastest. Universal holsters are not ideal for this class, but will work in a pinch.
      2. Some level 2 holsters (with 1 secure latch/release button) allow rapid deployment, but a level 3 holster is typically meant as a duty holster for a job, and is not appropriate for this kind of class.
      3. There are mounting options like a waste paddle, belt-loop mount, and others which is based on your preference. To learn more we recommend watching this: Holster Types

    • Two Retention Pistol Magazine Pouches:
      1. 2 Pistol Magazine Pouches are recommended on your belt. You will be changing magazines while moving around and need quick access to reloads.
      2. Some pouches have friction retention, and this is a good thing. You do not want your mag falling out while you move around, but having a latch or bungee securing the mag will slow down your mag changes.
      3. A double pouch will work too. They are great for permanent pouch placement, or to hold back-up magazines. The trade-off is that your mag reload could slow down a little as your support hand searches for one magazine from the two.

    • Electronic Hearing Protection:
      1. Electronic Hearing Protection will allow the instructor's voice to pass through and be amplified, while dampening the sound of gunfire significantly.
