To host a Three Rivers Equestrian Association (TREA) sanctioned schooling show, the following requirements must be met: The show must be run in accordance with the rules of the United States Equestrian Federation ("USEF") and the policies set by the Board of TREA with regard to its sanctioned point shows. Host facility must present proof of liability insurance with minimum coverage amounts of $1,000,000/ $2,000,000 per occurrence and name TREA as an "additional insured." It is the responsibility of the host to provide management, workers and equipment for the show. Any profit or loss resulting from the show will belong to the host. The show should be open to all TREA members. TREA's Board must approve the host's facilities, judges and classes offered. Judges should be licensed by USEF or USDF. Judges not licensed must be approved by TREA's Board. Judges not licensed must provide a USDF performance certificate for Second Level or above if not on the TREA's approved sanctioned schooling show judges list. Judges must be familiar with judging rules and show protocol. It is the responsibility of the host to obtain a negative coggins test dated within one year of the date of the show for all horses participating in the event. As part of this application, the host must certify to the TREA that such negative coggins tests have in fact been obtained in the show application. No horses are permitted in a competition arena between classes. The USEF recommends that spectators not be permitted within 15 meters of a competition arena. However, management can allow warm up as they see fit. Each competitor must receive a test score sheet for each class in which such competitor rides (including in hand classes Official USEF test score sheets should be used for each class. For in-hand classes only, instead of the official USEF test score sheet, the scoresheet attached to this application may be used at the election of the host. No test scoresheet is to be returned to a competitor before the class is pinned. It is the responsibility of the host to complete and return the score report form, to the Awards Chairperson, (Adriana Furda: adriana.furda@aitheras.com; (724) 747-5752) prior to the deadline for TREA year-end awards October 1st (check date on website It is the responsibility of the host to complete the attached questionnaire at least 30 days prior to the show and submit it along with a check made out to TREA for the sanctioning fee of $30.00. If paying for more than one show at a time the fee will be $25.00 per show. A late fee of $10.00 per show will be added to any show sanctioned 1-29 days prior to the show.
