  • Welcome to Common Sense Family Dentistry,

    Welcome to Common Sense Family Dentistry, Dr. Scott Stucki's office! We know your oral healthcare is important to you and we are grateful you have chosen us to fulfill your dental needs! We would like to familiarize you with our office policies and practices to make you comfortable with how we can work together.

  • Services Available

  • We provide a full range of oral healthcare for people of all ages--child to adult.

  • Office Hours

  • Our office is open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a lunch hour from 1:00-2:00. The office is open later on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate those who need later appointments. The office is closed on Wednesdays. (7:00 a.m. appointments can also be scheduled if necessary).

  • Emergency Calls

  • Our office is happy to work in emergency cases, however, to ensure that you may be worked in, please call early in the morning and be prepared to come when there is an opening as you are likely being worked in.

  • After Hours Emergencies

  • If you have an after hours emergency, please call our office and retrieve the after hours number from the answering machine. Please note that there is a $250 after hour charge in addition to any work performed. Until a diagnosis is made, no treatment can be rendered. Pain medication can no longer be called in to pharmacies.

  • No Show Charges

  • Our office charges a $30 no show fee. Please be responsible and keep your appointments as you will be charged for failing an appointment. Please give 48 hours notice when rescheduling appointments.

  • Payment for Services

  • We will bill most insurance plans (we are preferred providers for a many, see receptionist for details). Co-payments and deductible amounts are expected and appreciated at the time of service (this helps keep our expenses down by not having to send statements). If you are not insured, you are expected to pay the cost of your visit at the time of service. We have payment plans that you may qualify for through Care Credit, see the receptionist for more details. We also accept VISA/MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you know you will have difficulty in paying, please speak to us. We will work closely with you to provide payment options.

    There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.
