Join Us for the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Parade!
Everyone loves a parade, and the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Parade is one of the most anticipated events of Memorial Day weekend! Each year, the parade takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m., featuring a delightful mix of floats, bands, equestrians, cartoon characters, and more! It’s a true community celebration — and we want YOU to be a part of it!
Thousands of spectators line the streets each year to cheer for local celebrities, dignitaries, the Senior King and Queen, and the Tiny Tots King and Queen as they ride by on their festive floats.
Throughout the years, we’ve had the honor of hosting many film and TV celebrities, as well as local dignitaries, who add an extra touch of glamour to the parade. Each year, we also select a special Grand Marshal to lead the festivities, and depending on the theme, a Theme Grand Marshal is chosen as well.
We encourage all parade entries to be entertaining, creative, and exciting! We love seeing unique, out-of-the-box ideas that will delight and entertain the crowd. Spectators come to be wowed, and they’ll definitely remember those entries that stand out with creativity, energy, and fun. Don’t be afraid to get bold and imaginative — we’re here to help you brainstorm ideas!
How to Participate:
- Read the Parade Guidelines before submitting your entry.
- Respond early to secure your spot in the parade!
- Parade organizers will review and approve all entries.
- Accepted applicants will be notified by email.
- Need help with ideas or inspiration? Don’t hesitate to reach out — we’d love to help you create a parade entry that will leave the crowd cheering!
Let’s make this year’s Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Parade one to remember — full of fun, excitement, and creativity!
