Please note: regular customers of Yattaunga Riding Centre are only required to complete this waiver once every 12 months, unless there is a change to your personal circumstances. In this instance, please complete and submit a new waiver with your updated details prior to riding.

Dangerous Recreational Activity Risk Warning
Horse riding is a dangerous activity. Your participation in recreational activities provided by Yattalunga Riding Centre may involve risks, therefore please ensure you are aware of these prior to participating in any of the services we provide.

People undertaking horse-related activities, including but not limited to, handling, mounting, riding, dismouting, grooming, feeding and being within close proximity to horses, have a higher risk of serious INJURY or DEATH.

By signing this document, you acknowledge, agree and understand:
- horse riding is a dangerous activity and that horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable way, particularly when hurt or frightened
- the specific risks may include, but are not limited to, being bitten, kicked, struck, stepped on or falling off a horse
- serious INJURY and DEATH may result from horse riding and handling activities. You agree to ride or participate at your OWN RISK
- the assumption of risk and warning above constitutes a 'risk warning' for the purpose of relevant civil liability legislation.
Waiver, Indemnity and Release
Under Australian Consumer Law, statutory guarantees apply to the provision of certain goods and services, including recreational activities such as horse riding.

Under these same laws, a service provider can ask you to agree that these statutory guarantees do not apply to you, or a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the services. In signing this form, you agree your rights to sue the supplier on the grounds the services provided were not in accordance with the guarantees are excluded.

In signing this document, you acknowledge, agree and understand that, to the full extent permitted by law, Yattalunga Riding Centre, its servants, agents, representatives and volunteers accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, death or other loss sustained as a consequence of your participation in horse riding or horse-related activities.

Please note, you do not have to agree to exclude, restrict or modify your rights by signing this document. However, Yattalunga Riding Centre may refuse to provide you with the relevant services if you do not sign this agreement.
Rider Assessment
In order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, Yattalunga Riding Centre assesses the skills and experience of participants prior to each ride. Please indicate your rider experience level below:*

Rider Agreement
In applying to ride or participate in recreational activities supplied by Yattalunga Riding Centre, the participant agrees to (please tick):*

follow the directions of the ride leader/educator at all timesride or handle the horse/s in a safe and controlled mannerwear an Australian Standard Approved helmet and correct footwear at all timesread and follow all signs on the property and follow all instructionsnot drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during the ridenot smoke or vape anywhere on the propertynot feed, pat or handle any horse on the property (agistment or riding centre horses) without clear consent of the owner or one of our staff membersbe responsible for any damage to the premises, or injuries/illness suffered by the horses, other riders or spectators caused by the participants reckless, negligent or irresponsible conduct.
Refusal to abide by the above terms and conditions will result in cancellation of your booking with no refund provided.
Medical Declaration
