  • Memorist will be hosting a five-day basic paper conservation training workshop at the National Archives in Pretoria facilitated by an expert Memorist conservator from La Reliure du Limousin in France.

    By the end of this one-week introductory training, you will be empowered with the knowledge and skills to better understand the physical properties of archival papers, best practices on how to conserve your own paper collections. Remedial protocols, including cleaning, tear repairs, paper reinforcement and correctly document all conservation interventions will hold no secrets for you after this workshop delivered by our expert conservators of Memorist and La Reliure du Limousin (France).
