TOUR: Scheduling a visit to our school is the most important first step in our enrollment process. This is an opportunity to tour our school, peek into our classrooms, converse about your child, and learn about Montessori education. SCMS only accepts applications after parent/s have toured.
APPLY: Following the tour, families can apply by completing the online application. Applications must include the non-refundable $100 application fee. Applications should be submitted by February 1st to be considered for enrollment for the school year ahead.
DECISION: Enrollment decisions are sent via email during the second week of February. If accepted, families will receive an enrollment offer and contract link along with their acceptance letter. To secure your child’s placement, the enrollment contract must be signed and a $500 tuition deposit submitted within one week of acceptance. Please note that signing the enrollment contract represents a financial commitment to the full academic year, as outlined in the agreement.
ENROLLMENT: Acceptance of a child is based on several factors. The most important is being committed to the full cycle of our Montessori programs.
WAIT POOL: Applicants will be listed in our wait pool if enrollment is unavailable. When placing students in our classrooms, priority is given to balancing ages, learning styles, and personalities within the current class community. Parents are notified of classroom placement during the summer. We encourage parents to trust in our ability to make the optimal placement for their child.
