  • YAMHILL COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY PROGRAMS

Our goal is to prepare Adults in Custody (AICs) for a successful transition back into the community as productive members of society. These programs provide meaningful opportunities that extend beyond the jail walls, fostering growth that benefits both individuals and the community.

Programs are designed to address the unique needs of the incarcerated population, supporting personal development and skill-building that are vital for successful reentry. By engaging AICs in constructive activities, facilities reduce idle time that can lead to unrest, while also instilling a sense of purpose and hope—key elements for rehabilitation and reducing recidivism.

Ultimately, these efforts create safer communities and contribute to a stronger, more effective criminal justice system.
