  • About Us:
    New Hope Project (a non-profit 501c3) and FIVE01CORE, Divisions of HQ21 Headquarters, a company that is committed to advancing the well-being of children, families and veterans in our communities. We envision flourishing communities made up of safe, thriving, and diverse sectors, strengthened by dynamic leadership that empowers the communities to fully participate in all levels of society. 

    Our Mission: Working together to provide mentorship, leadership and opportunities to empower the youth to thrive and create lasting changes in their lives and communities

    About Our Grants:
    Each year, New Hope Project (a non-profit 501c3) and FIVE01CORE will distribute funds to organizations that serve the community in accordance with our mission and values. Both established nonprofit organizations and emerging community-based organizations may receive grants to support the important work they do. Grants are awarded through an application process overseen by the New Hope Project Board.  Each grant is unique to the project and is based on available funds and Board approval.


    What We Fund:
    The New Hope Project Grant Funds can be used for any purpose determined by the New Hope Project Board.  Restrictions will be put in place with each Grant and will be specific to the Grant given. The process may include but not limited to site visits, reports, approvals, signatures, audits, phone conversations, and emails as a follow-up to the application process by the HQ-21 Managment Team. 

    Grantees will be expected to provide a final report on the impact of their grant, date TBD.

    Eligibility:
    Applicants must either be a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or we may require you to utilize a fiscal sponsor if unincorporated and Board requires.  We encourage community-based, grassroots, and emerging organizations to apply.
    Organizations that have budgets of less than $500,000 will be given priority consideration during the grantmaking review.

    The following are not eligible to apply: political parties, organizations for specific candidates, political action committees and/or any organizations that exist to support them; governments and municipal organizations.


  • Note:  Please review all of the application questions below and required documents that need to be included. 

    Documents you will need to upload with your submission include the following:

    • Pitch Deck (you will need to create)
    • Project Summary (Form provided below)
    • Executive Summary (Form provided below)
    • IRS determination letter (for applicants that are incorporated nonprofit organizations)
    • Letter of support from fiscal sponsor (for unincorporated entities) (If Board Requires)
    • Current fiscal year operating budget document showing projected budget and actual expenditures to date, as well as prior year's budget and actual expenses.  Use any format or document type.
    • Most recent IRS Form 990 (for incorporated nonprofit organizations)
    • Audited financial statements (for incorporated nonprofit organizations that are independently audited)
