Natalea Grace Mumaw left the world on April 16, 2023 at 4:38pm as a result of an automobile accident. Natalea was a senior at St. Marys High School and the Marching Blue Devils Feature Twirler. Natalea was the reigning NBTA Miss Majorette of WV and 2022 Elmore Champion.
Natalea was an advocate on bullying, she stood up for anyone being mistreated. Natalea Grace shared the importance of mental health, spreading the word “It’s ok to not be ok but it’s not ok to not talk about it”. She used her “depression sessions“ as a opening to talk to youth and teens about the importance of mental health and it was ok to do therapy.
Beyond that in her death, we learned how our beautiful girl, would coach and mentor others through their own storms. She was so humble and never needed a pat on the back for helping others. She was the light in the room, she was the right amount of sass, she had a smile and laugh that completely changed your day! Her beauty came from her soul. She thrived to be that girl, that left her sparkle everywhere she went. The world lost a bright, smart and beautiful soul, we as family and friends lost our beautiful girl.
This scholarship fund was created to honor Natalea and the person she was to keep her memory alive by helping high school seniors from both her hometowns of St Marys and Grafton that are planning on attending a trade school.
