Join the magical world of Miss America, an iconic 102-year-old organization and the Miss Hawaii / Miss Hawaii's Teen program as a Lei of Aloha! We are excited to introduce a new program for girls ages 5 to 12 years old where they will develop life skills including poise and self confidence building while making friends in a fun and non-competitive program. The focus of this program is to enable participants to have a better insight of the Miss Hawaii & Miss Hawaii’s Teen organization and what the Miss America program is all about… SERVICE, STYLE, SCHOLARSHIPS, SUCCESS, and SISTERHOOD.
In addition to the program mentorship, the $250 fee includes:
- An official Miss America’s Little Sisters Pink stone mini round crown and sash
- Leis of Aloha official t-shirt for the production number
- Leis of Aloha Little Sisters gift bag
- Leis of Aloha Professional Headshot session
- Entrance to the Miss Hawai’i Leis of Aloha Tea Party (Information TBA)
- Entrance to the Miss Hawai’i Leis of Aloha Coronation (Information TBA)
- Two (2) VIP tickets to the Miss Hawaii Preliminary Competition (June 20th)
- Two (2) VIP tickets to the Miss Hawaii’s Teen Competition (June 21st)
- Leis of Aloha Little Sisters on-stage performance at the Miss Hawaii’s Teen Competition (Rehearsals TBA)
- Spotlight Runway Walk at the Miss Hawaii’s Teen Competition (Rehearsals TBA)
- Miss Hawai’i and Miss Hawaii’s Teen Autograph Photos
- Potential feature in the Miss Hawai’i competition telecast

General Rules:
This is not a pageant or a “title”, it is an introductory program to the Miss Hawaii’s Teen and Miss Hawai’i Programs and Miss America.
Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times, until/unless they are with the program coordinators. (i.e: special events, rehearsals, appearances, etc.)
Participants are not allowed to make any appearance in her community wearing her crown unless she is making an official appearance with the Miss Hawai’i Organization or approved by the Miss Hawaii Executive Director.
ALL appearances made with the crown and/or banner must receive prior approval from the Director(s). Any use of the crown and/or banner not approved is strictly prohibited. During appearances, contestants must be dressed appropriately and NEVER wear “slippers” unless specifically requested.
Fees are non-refundable.
Positive attitude is a MUST and having FUN is required!
When is the Leis of Aloha Program?
June 16-22, 2024. NOT ALL OF THESE DATES WILL BE MANDATORY!
Daily schedule will be released closer to the week of the program.
Photo Submission:
Each Leis of Aloha representative MUST submit a photo to littlemiss.misshawaii@gmail.com by April 09, 2024. Submitted photo should be vertical and in sharp focus. Recommended hi-resolution .jpeg file or 300dpi .pdf file is needed for best reproduction quality. We recommend that Little Sisters submission photos should be clean with hair not hiding their face while looking forward with their full head in the photo. Keep jewelry simple and clothing age appropriate.
Leis of Aloha Little Sisters participants will be featured in the Miss Hawaii / Miss Hawaii’s Teen Digital Pageant Program Book.
Headshots for the Digital Program Book will be done by the Miss Hawaii Organization Photographer. (Date TBA)
Accomodations, Transportation and Meals:
All family and/or friends are responsible for their accommodations, transportation, and meals. We encourage participants and their families to stay at the host hotel, Alohilani Resort Beach Waikiki. Please email littlemiss.misshawaii@gmail.com if you would like the promo code.
Backstage General Rules:
No one is permitted backstage beyond a designated point at any time, except security, stage personnel, and competition officials.
