All invoices must be settled at least 24 hours before the first session for which invoicing applies.
Payment method: Bank transfer (details supplied).
Note: Late payment may result in lessons being paused until fees are settled. The tutor reserves the right to apply a late fee for invoices overdue by more than 7 days.

    3. Termination of Tuition
Tuition may be ended at any time by mutual consent.
Either party may terminate by giving one month’s written notice (via email).
If the client is preparing for an exam, tuition will automatically terminate on the date of their final exam. No notice is required in this case, unless tuition is stopped before the exam, in which case the one-month notice still applies.

    4. Failure to Give Notice
Where a client fails to give notice under Clause 3, one month’s lesson fees will be payable in lieu of notice.
Unused prepaid lessons are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    5. Complaints
Concerns should be raised promptly via phone or email to Claire Morrow-Goodman.
All reasonable steps will be taken to resolve the issue.
In the event of an irrevocable breakdown in relationship, the contract will terminate.
Refunds will not be given for lessons already paid.

    6. Lesson Cancellation
At least 48 hours’ notice: Session may be rescheduled, but rescheduling is subject to availability. If no slot can be found, the lesson is forfeited without refund.
Less than 48 hours’ notice: Session is forfeited and charged in full.
Student illness <24 hours’ notice: Session forfeited, no refund.
Tutor illness <24 hours’ notice: Session rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

    7. Catch-Up Lessons
If the tutor cancels a lesson, an alternative will be offered.
If the student misses a lesson (with proper notice), every effort will be made to arrange a catch-up, but this is not guaranteed.

    8. Lateness
Sessions begin and end at scheduled times.
Late arrival does not extend the lesson.
If the student is more than 15 minutes late, the session is treated as a no-show, charged in full, and not rescheduled.

    9. Lesson Requirements
    Students must bring:

    textbooks/workbooks in use
    calculator
    notebook/paper and stationery
any homework set by the tutor, completed and ready for review

    10. Code of Conduct
For students under 18, a responsible adult must remain on the premises during lessons.
Students and parents/guardians must refrain from using disrespectful, inappropriate, or aggressive behaviour.
Aggressive/threatening behaviour results in immediate termination of the agreement, with no refund of fees.
Conduct issues follow a three-step process:

    * Verbal warning
    * Written warning
    * Withdrawal from tuition, with fees forfeited

    11. Plagiarism
The tutor will not complete homework, coursework, or assignments for the student.
Students and parents acknowledge that plagiarism is a serious academic offence, with potential consequences including disqualification or withdrawal of qualifications.

    12. Limitation of Liability
The tutor will make every reasonable effort to help the student progress, but no guarantee of results can be given.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the tutor accepts no liability for direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damages (including missed opportunities, loss of earnings, or academic outcomes).

    13. Communication
Formal notices (termination, cancellation of contract) must be given in writing by email.
Texts, phone calls, or social media messages will not be accepted as formal notice.

    14. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
