A) TERMS:
A $350 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot once you have been notified that you have been selected to participate. GST included.
During the event vendors will be charged a rent of 20% of their gross daily sales which is payable at the end of each day. A total minimum rent for the event will be charged equal to your deposit. Deposits will be taken off your final days rent. Venders will be expected to operate using a cash register (with receipt printing capability) or an approved point of sales (POS) system.
B) POWER:
No power is provided, must have own generator or power source.
C) WATER, WASTE WATER & COOKING OIL:
Vendors will need to be self-sufficient as potable water will not be accessible or provided. You will also be required to take your grey water and cooking oil with you.
D) HEALTH:
If you have an annual health permit than please forward it to us as soon as possible. All temporary health permits must be approved by the Fraser Health Authority no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your concession is properly set up and that you follow the health requirements as detailed in the Temporary Food Booth application. We are not responsible if for any reason your health permit is denied or you fail to meet acceptable standards and/or closed down by the health authority during the event.
E) FIRE PROTECTION:
Where applicable, all food vendors will be required to have a current GVFCS fire inspection decal from an approved fire department would be preferred but not required. If you have a grill or deep fryer your hood systems must be clean and have an inspection tag dated in the last 6 months. All concessions must have a 10lb ABC extinguisher with current annual inspection tag.
F) INSURANCE:
Food Concessions must have minimum of 5 million liability insurance coverage. Certificate required upon applicants’ approval. It should include the following as additionally insured:

G) SUSTAINABILITY AND SERVICEWARE:
This is a green event. It is requested that you provide customers with wooden utensils, paper straws and to not use foil or foil lined wrappers. The sales or distribution on single-use plastic bottles, straws or plastic bags is not allowed.
