FIRST FRIDAY APPLICATION PROCESS AND RULES
The purpose of this application is to enable art vendors to have an opportunity to participate at First Friday.
Important Details Effective March 1st 2024 For First Friday Art Vendor Applications:
- Applications will no longer be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- 25 art vendors will be selected for each First Friday and we will do our best to evenly diversify the types of art at First Friday.
- We encourage all artists to host an activity at their booth. This can include, but is not limited to, art demostrations, hands-on learning activities, games, and information sessions about your art. The goal of this is to make the art portion of First Friday more interactive and engaging for the community. Please describe the activity that you will be hosting in the designated box in the below form if you intend to host one.
- If more than one art medium will be sold, vendors must specify each art medium in the application below.
- Applications for First Friday will be open from the 1st-15th of the month preceding the First Friday that you wish to participate in. (e.g. To participate in October First Friday, art vendors will need to apply between September 1-15). Applications will close around 9:00 AM on the 15th of the month.
- You will be notified if your application has been approved by the 20th of the month preceding the First Friday that you wish to participate in.
- Approved applicants will be required to pay a $30 vendor fee for each First Friday that they wish to participate in. Fees are due by the Friday preceding First Friday. Failure to pay the $30 vendor fee will result in being unable to participate in First Friday as a vendor. A link to pay the $30 vendor fee by credit card will be sent with your approval email.
- You will receive your assigned location and permit information by the Friday before First Friday.
- Please Note: Due to the number of applicants and limited space, we will not be able to provide a space to every artist at each event.
