About the Art Shuffle

The Art Shuffle is a free, self-directed, one-night, neighbourhood art walk held on one of the longest evenings of the year. In 2025 it falls on Friday, June 20th and runs from 4:00 – 9:00 PM in Port Moody’s Old Town Centre, Rocky Point and Brewery Row areas. There will be 20+ indoor and outdoor venues hosting visual and performing artists, artisans and community groups, along with art activities and demonstrations. The venues include artist studios, galleries, museums and small businesses supporting the arts.

It is organized by an experienced and engaged community-led group of volunteers who are arts advocates, artists, and arts professionals living, working or volunteering in Port Moody. From its creation in 2018 a key focus of the Art Shuffle has been to find ways to celebrate and promote the thriving artistic culture of the City of the Arts.

May to June 19th - volunteer opportunities:
- putting up posters and delivering maps to public spaces in the Tri-Cities.
- Delivering posters, maps and other print materials to Art Shuffle venues.
June 20th - Event day volunteer positions include:
- 2 Drivers and 2 helpers to deliver feather flags and signage to the Art Shuffle venues in the morning and/or collect them at 9pm.
- 2 Drivers and 2 helpers to set up wayfinding signs (lawn size) along the Art Shuffle route in the morning and/or take them down at 9pm.
- Setup volunteers to help with putting up tents and tables in early afternoon.
- Take down volunteers to help take down tents and tables at 9pm.
- Ambassadors at specific venues and circulating to greet people, answer questions and give directions.
- Photographers to document the event and activities.
