  • To help us provide your child with the best possible camp experience, please complete this form thoughtfully and accurately. The details you share help our staff understand your child's needs, strengths, and areas where extra support will help them thrive. All information is kept confidential and used solely to ensure a safe, successful summer.

    If we have any questions about your responses, a member of our team may reach out before camp begins so we can partner together for your child's success.

    Please ensure all relevant information regarding your child’s safety, well-being, or support needs are disclosed. Failure to provide accurate information may limit our ability to care for your child. If we determine that we cannot safely or appropriately meet your child's needs with the information provided, dismissal from camp may be necessary.

  • All parents are required  to review this entire policy document with your children before the summer begins. 

    If your child has a behavioral plan at school, or if you feel that they may have challenges with one of the behaviors outlined please share that with us above prior to camp.

    Children have had a successful and enjoyable summer when we implement existing plans at camp. The more feedback and knowledge we have beforehand enable us to best cater to your child's individual needs.

    We always expect campers to be respectful, when on our property or participating in our programs. 

    A. Code of conduct:

    1. Campers are to behave in a mature, responsible way and respect the rights and dignity of others.

    2. Campers take Responsibility for their actions.

    3. Campers Respect themselves, each other, camp equipment and the environment.

    4. Honesty will be the basis for all camp relationships and interactions. 

    5. Campers will be caring in their relationships with others.

    6. Campers should discuss with their counselor or head counselor if they are uncomfortable with any experiences or need assistance while at camp.


    B. Discipline Procedures:

    When a camper does not follow the behavior guidelines, we will take the following action steps as behavior problems progress.

    1. Camp Staff will redirect the camper to more appropriate behavior. 

    2. If inappropriate behavior continues, the camper will be reminded of behavior guidelines and camp rules, and the camper will be asked to decide on action steps to correct his/her behavior.

    3. If a child’s behavior still does not meet expectations and is affecting the experience of other campers, he/she will miss the next scheduled Camp Day. 

    4. If inappropriate behavior continues, as a final action step the camper may be dismissed from camp.

    Examples of unacceptable behavior:

    • Refusing to follow behavior guidelines or camp rules

    • Using profanity, vulgarity or obscenity

    • Stealing or damaging property (Chabad property, other campers' belongings, or field trip locations) 

    • Refusal to participate in activities or cooperate with staff 

    • Disrupting a program

    • Leaving the group without permission

    • Endangering the health and safety of children and/or staff

    • Teasing, making fun or bullying other campers or staff

    • Fighting of any kind.

    Summer Camp fees are non-refundable if a camper is sent home for disciplinary reasons. 

    5. Physical violence or bullying toward another camper or staff member will result in immediate dismissal from the camp program. 

    Campers who have not read the Code of Conduct will not be accepted until all requirements are met.
