Join us on March 14th as we witness the convergence of academia, innovation, and practical solutions to address some of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
Event Summary
Pitches: Upper-year students from Western University's Health Innovation and Leadership course will present innovative solutions to health challenges in their Dragon's Den-style pitches.
Panelists: A distinguished panel will assess pitches and participate in a Q&A session focused on scaling and strategizing innovations. Among them are representatives from notable initiatives including WORLDiscoveries in London, ON, Frugal Biomedical Innovations, and RedBox Rx in the GTA, each offering valuable expertise in technology transfer, biomedical innovation, and healthcare solutions.
Learning Cases: Coinciding with these pitches is the launch of the Immersive Learning Cases in Implementation Science. These cases, funded by the School of Health Studies and Western Libraries' Open Educational Resource Grant, offer immersive and interactive learning experiences, providing valuable insights and skills for addressing contemporary healthcare challenges.
