Join Louisville Visual Art and the Metro Community Art Center for an exciting ceramic class where students will bring their personal icons to life through vibrant ceramic slabs!
Project Objective:
Elementary and Middle School students will craft ceramic slabs ranging from 6 inches to 2 feet in diameter, adorned with simple icons that hold personal significance. These icons could be emojis, symbols, or images that resonate deeply with each child, expressed in a maximum of 3 colors.
Class Details:
• Location: Beechmont Community Art Center, 205 West Wellington Ave., Louisville, KY 40214
• LVA HEARTS Ceramic Class – 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students
• Start Date: Saturdays starting April 20, 2024 (8 classes)
• Class Times: 9:30 - 11:30am
