The Untitled Space invites artists to submit their artwork for consideration for upcoming exhibits, special projects, art fairs, and online opportunities. This is a general open call to submit proposals to the gallery. The gallery will contact you if your work aligns with an upcoming exhibition or if we are interested to see more artwork for consideration for special projects or sales.

The Untitled Space is an art gallery located in Tribeca, New York in a landmark building on Lispenard Street, in the Tribeca Arts District. Founded in 2015, the gallery features an ongoing curation of exhibits of emerging and established contemporary artists exploring conceptual frameworks and boundary-pushing ideology through painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, and performance art. The gallery is committing to exploring new ideas vis-à-vis traditional and new mediums and highlights a program of women in art.

Since launching in 2015, The Untitled Space has presented over 50 exhibitions by more than 500 artists. Exhibitions include solo shows for artists Sarah Maple, Rebecca Leveille, Alison Jackson, Fahren Feingold, Jessica Lichtenstein, Philip A. Robinson Jr., Tom Smith, Loren Erdrich, Kat Toronto aka Miss Meatface, Katie Commodore, Giulia Grillo aka Petite Doll, Jeanette Hayes, Grace Graupe-Pillard and Robin Tewes, as well as group shows “INNOVATE,” “UNRAVELED: Confronting The Fabric of Fiber Art,” “Art4Equality x Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness” public art exhibition and group show presented in collaboration with Save Art Space, “BODY BEAUTIFUL,” “IRL: Investigating Reality,” Special Projects “EDEN” and “(HOTEL) XX” at SPRING/BREAK Art Show; ”SECRET GARDEN,” “SHE INSPIRES,” and internationally-celebrated group shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE,” as well as numerous other critically-acclaimed exhibitions.

• Submissions are open to all artists, national and international, working in all visual mediums.
• We do not accept walk-ins or any unsolicited artwork shipped by mail.
• Artwork image sizes must be minimum 1000 pixels - maximum 2000 pixels JPEGS (only). Maximum file size: 1MB 
• Each jpeg must be titled with “Artist Name–Title of Artwork–Year”
• Each submission of work or series of works should include a description of the art and mediums used, as well as a short statement on the subject of inspiration for the art.
• Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email of your application. 
• Submitting your work does not guarantee an exhibition.
• Artists will be notified if their work is of interest within 6-8 weeks of submitting a proposal, and if we need to see more artwork we will contact you. 

ARTWORK SUBMISSION

Provide more info on your artwork for consideration below. Artists may submit up to 5 images for the $50 Proposal Review Fee.

For additional artwork submissions, there is a $10 fee per image up to a maximum of 10 artwork images total per proposal.

Images jpegs must be formated: “Artist Name–Title of Artwork–Year”

Submitted artwork image sizes must be minimum 1000 pixels - maximum 2000 pixels JPEGS (only). Maximum file size: 1MB

*Please make sure to resize your images before uploading or the form will not submit. It is recommended to use Photoshop or a similar program to resize the images. 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL AREAS OF THE ART INFO FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT OR THE FORM WILL NOT SUBMIT. Please note n/a or none if not relevant to your artwork.

Terms & Conditions

- I understand submitting my artwork for review does not guarantee an exhibition. 

- The Untitled Space will contact artists who submit proposals regarding any questions or if we require additional artwork images. 

- Please allow 4-6 weeks for feedback regarding your proposal. 

- I agree to pay the total application proposal review fee below. 

- There are no refunds on proposal review fees. 

SUBMIT YOUR FORM

Once you have completed the form and successfully uploaded artwork images, press submit to finalize your application. You will be forwarded to the payment page to process the application fee. Applications that are incomplete including payment of the application fee will not be reviewed or considered.

The non-refundable proposal review fee helps the gallery cover costs that directly affect our ability to create a space that includes emerging, underrepresented, and/or marginalized artists and not just a commercially focused gallery, and additionally supports our non-profit initiative Art4Equality. Thank you for your understanding.

If you have problems submitting your form, please double-check that all image files, PDFs or documents uploaded are maximum 1MB each. Also please make sure all files are correctly named according to the requirements noted above.
