Academic Accommodation Needs

Course Selection

FULL-TIME STUDENTS

Families of full-time students are required to sign up for a scheduling consultation with the Head of School to determine the best course selection for the year. Scheduling consultations can be arranged via email at admin@headlandsprep.com.

PART-TIME STUDENTS

 If your student is attending Headlands part-time, please list the courses below:

Tutoring Only - Tutoring is to supplement courses taken outside of Headlands. These courses will not show up on the student’s transcript and are not for credit.

If you would like to discuss additional details of your student's enrollment or class schedule, please schedule a meeting with our Head of School, Alex Blumencranz. Scheduling can be arranged via email at admin@headlandsprep.com.

Scheduling Options

The 2023-24 school year officially begins on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 and ends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Please note that priority scheduling is given to students who begin their classes on the first day of the fall term. If a course is not completed by the end of the school year, you may enroll either in the 2024 Summer Session or the following school year to complete the course. Classes during the school year are generally scheduled either three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (MWF), or twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday (TTH), or at the same time every day Monday through Friday. Classes are not available during the weekend. 

We are occasionally able to accommodate atypical schedules. If the above scheduling system does not work for your student, please inquire about atypical scheduling.

 

Please select your student’s availability below. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however, we cannot guarantee any specific instructor or time slot, as schedules are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transcript Release

I hereby authorize Headlands Preparatory School to release my/my child’s transcripts to designated schools or institutions upon my written request. I have read and agree to abide by Headlands Preparatory School’s Transcript Policy. Permission to release transcripts is for the 2023-24 school year.

• There is no fee for requesting a transcript. Enrollment fees cover the costs of issuing official transcripts. 
• We require parents to approve their student’s transcript (in person or by email) before we mail it. 
• We require two business days for processing transcripts.
• For college applications, parents must provide stamped, addressed envelopes, as well as a list of institutions to which the envelopes are addressed. 
• Official transcripts are mailed directly from Headlands Preparatory School to middle or high schools.
• Questions regarding transcripts can be sent to admin@headlandsprep.com.

Transportation Acknowledgement

Stopping to drop off or pick up a student in the school parking lot is strictly prohibited; all student drop offs or pick ups must be off campus. Parent or student parking in the school parking lot is also strictly prohibited; permitted, metered, and free parking are all available within two blocks of campus.

Payment Information

Your student will only be scheduled after we have received both the completed registration form and your application deposit.

Authorization for Release of Information

I hereby release the above persons and/or agencies from any and all legal liability, which may result from the communication of the information referred to above.
