By commissioning Teto Creations or purchasing one of our products, you agree to the following:
Artistic liberty:
All fursuit parts including heads, hand paws, feet paws, tails and bodysuits or similar are to be considered artistic liberty. Artistic liberty commissions will be made in the artist's image without necessarily having customer input beyond a reference sheet. The artist will ask for input only when they see fit, no alterations or customer input will be guaranteed.
Processing Time:
The time I need to complete and prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items. All items will be completed and shipped in a timely manner, to the best of my ability. I make no guarantees on the delivery date of custom products; however, I do my best to keep customers updated and complete things in a timely manner.
Customs and Import Taxes:
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Payment:
Payment must be completed before any order will be shipped out, including all payments as part of payment plans and all costs associated with shipping. Payments will all be done through Square or PayPal invoicing, unless otherwise negotiated. Failure to pay as agreed upon or stated in the invoice will result in the customer releasing any rights they have to the product being made and will result in legal action if necessary to collect payment. All payment plans must be paid on a monthly basis, unless otherwise agreed upon. Once a customer has agreed to a price and/or payment and an invoice has started, then the customer is obligated to pay the full amount agreed upon by the agreed-upon date or date at which the payment plan should be complete, unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon by all parties.
Cancellations:
Before downpayment:
If you wish to cancel an order before any money has been paid, that's not a problem; just let me know as soon as possible! No slots are guaranteed until a downpayment has been made.
After downpayment:
If you have already sent your downpayment, this is nonrefundable as that money is used to buy materials. However, as long as work has not started on your suit, any payments beyond the downpayment can be refunded. Unless otherwise negotiated, the downpayment is 33% of the total commission cost.
After work has started:
If I have already started on your suit, no refunds are guaranteed, and if you would like to back out, any refunds will be decided by me in a case-to-case way determined by the amount of time and money spent on the project. In addition, any cancellation beyond this point will be subject to a 10% or $25 fee (whichever is higher) that will be deducted from any refund granted.
Taxes and Fees:
If paying through Square or PayPal, a 4% additional fee will be added to account for the cut payment processors take from payments. This will be added to the gross total and is to be paid as part of the commission price before the product is shipped.
Taxes may be added to invoices, online transactions, or in-person transactions; these are not negotiable.
Any fees for importing or shipping will be passed off to the customer and are non-negotiable.
Shipping:
Shipping will be calculated after the product has been completed, and the client is responsible for paying for shipping in full, whatever it might be, prior to the package being shipped. All packages are shipped with proper insurance, indicated value, and by the method I deem most fit. Charging for shipping after completion lets me only charge exactly the amount shipping will cost but the shipping method and prices are non-negotiable. Shipping costs are not refundable. By agreeing to my terms of service, you agree that you understand the costs associated with shipping large costumes.
Medical:
Although I do my research and make sure to use high-quality, safe materials, I cannot be held responsible for any medical reactions to any material used in any item you receive. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify me of an allergic reaction they may have prior to starting a project, and I cannot guarantee the safety of any materials used beyond my personal experience with the materials. In addition, I do not take any responsibility for any harm that may come to the user when using my products, as many of the things I make can have inherit risks such as heat exhaustion and suffocation.
Please practice safety when using any of my products, drink water, take breaks, and avoid situations that may bring you harm.
Keeping your costumes in good condition by washing them and making sure they're safe to use can also be important to your health and safety, and I encourage all customers to do so regularly.
Quality Control:
All items will be shipped with insurance matching the value of the product, if an item is damaged during shipping, full compensation can be provided so long as the package carrier deems it appropriate. I make no personal guarantees related to reimbursement for products damaged in shipping, as this will be determined by the package handler.
All items are checked for quality before shipment and should be expected to arrive in good condition and in line with previous work; however, quality cannot be guaranteed to any specific degree.
Regarding specialty orders such as patterns or designs that have not been used by me in the past or were not designed by me, no degree of quality can be guaranteed other than my best ability to create the order within reasonable measure.
Warranty:
Items purchased through commission come with a 6-month warranty that covers repairs and return shipping associated with said repairs for damages that occur during normal use that cause significant usability or aesthetic concerns. Items bought in person during vending or from the online store are not eligible for this warranty. (see: Returns & Exchanges)
Normal use includes:
- Normal fursuiting inside and outside for parts rated for those conditions, such as using indoor feet pas inside and usind outdoor feet pas outside.
- Washing and storing fursuits in accordance with care documentation.
Any of the following will void the warranty:
- Using an item for any kind of sexual activity.
- Stress testing such as throwing, stretching, kicking, or any other un-ordenary use.
- Reselling an item to another party (The warranty is not transferable)
- Taking part in sports or similar rigorous activities within your fursuit.
- Using indoor feet paws outside.
- Using any feet-paws on sharp or rough ground.
- Not cleaning your fursuit in accordance with the care documentation.
- Not storing your fursuit properly in accordance with the care documentation.
- Damages caused by a pet or other animal.
- Damages caused by removal of a tag.
- Using a brush with raw metal tips, including protective brushes that have worn down.
Significant usability or aesthetic concerns:
These shall be defined as visual issues that are plainly visible when held at arm's length and detract from the overall aesthetic of the fursuit or by damage that makes the suit unusable or difficult to use reasonably. If you need a repair and your fursuit is under warranty, you will be asked to fill out a form and provide proof of purchase. All shipping costs will be covered when returning your product, as well as any costs associated with repairs. The customer will be expected to cover costs associated with returning the product to the maker. Repairs will be made alongside any current commissions as time allows. Although we give these the utmost importance, no time window can be guaranteed.
Returns & Exchanges:
This section pertains to all other products purchased from Teto Creations and does not apply to custom orders. These items have a 14-day return window for any defective items. Any complaints must be brought to my attention within 14 days of delivery. I will take no responsibility for any damage caused by the user or for not following the recommended care documentation. Items that are not broken or defective in some way upon receipt are not eligible for a refund. Items being returned will be refunded to the original transaction method, this will not include the cost of shipping.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged, Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
The following will instantly void any warranty or eligibility for repair, exchange, and refund:
- Using an item for any kind of sexual activity.
- Stress testing such as throwing, stretching, kicking, or any other un-ordenary use.
- Reselling an item to another party (the warranty is not transferable)
- Taking part in sports or similar rigorous activities within your fursuit.
- Using indoor feet paws outside.
- Using any feet-paws on sharp or rough ground.
- Using any part of your fursuit in sexual activities.
- Not cleaning your fursuit in accordance with the care documentation.
- Not storing your fursuit properly in accordance with the care documentation.
- Damages caused by a pet or other animal.
- Removal of the TetoCreations tag, unless an exception has been made.
- Using a brush with raw metal tips, including protective brushes that have worn down.
Conditions of Return:
This section applies to ALL repairs, repairs, exchanges, or similar. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value outside that which is covered by warranty or that which the item arived in. The customer is responsible for accurately representing the condition of the product; failure to do so may result in refusal of service, including repairs, refunds, ect. I reserve the right to refuse service upon receiving the suit for any reason.
