Digital copies are good for e-mail and online submissions while hardcopies are needed for mail or in-office submissions. They are equally effective under the law.

A digitally-certified translation would be presented to you in PDF format, and should be transmitted via digital means only (i.e. uploaded online, sent as an e-mail or WeChat attachment, etc.). Please do not modify or print out a digitally-stamped PDF file as the digital certification would not be valid if printed out or modified. If you really need paper copies to be made, please indicate that above, and I would print out the document(s) from my end, and apply my certification stamp on the document(s) physically.

I send all translated documents via Canada Post, and do not deliver anything by myself. I would include a tracking number at all times, and provide you with the tracking number immediately after the courier picks up the mail from me. The cheapest option at Canada Post (regular mail) will NOT be used for this purpose due to the absence of tracking information. Only high-quality large weatherproof bubble envelops will be used to ensure that documents will never get damaged along the way.
