We are sometimes involved in assisted rehoming or rescue of Devons or other breeds. Would you like to know more?

Care and Commitment

Welcoming a cat into your family is a big commitment, and takes a lot of thought.
What is your understanding of the financial commitment of owning a cat?
Do you have a plan for emergencies?
Beyond the initial included pet insurance, have you looked into other insurance policies? If you have pets already on a plan, we may be able to select your insurance for a kitten to go home with.
Do you have a family veterinarian? Who are they?
What do you plan to feed your kitten?
A Devon Rex lives for 9-15 years on average. Have you considered what major life changes are likely to occur during this time?
Housing and Environment

Tell us about your home, and how you see your life with a kitten joining you.
Is your housing overseen by a landlord, a body corporate, or strata management? What is the pet policy? (We have all hidden cat’s before! It is ok to tell me the truth, this will not impact consideration for a kitten).
In what way have you, or will you, prepare you home for a kitten?
All of our kittens are sold as indoor only cats. We consider outdoor enclosures as secure solutions. Will you be able to adhere to this requirement?
