Pine Center for the Arts is bringing back its popular Black and White Community Gallery!
Once again, we welcome artists of all ages, experience levels, and mediums to join us.
Artists are allowed to submit 1-3 works of art for the Pine Center for the Back in Black (and White) Open Gallery. Art will be on display May 3-June 2, and an opening reception will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, May 3.
- Artists may enter up to 3 recent (within 3 years) original artworks not previously shown at the Pine Center for the Arts.
- All artwork must be the original works, conceived and executed solely by the artist.
- All aspects of the artwork must be black, white, or gray. The art must be void of all color, including frames and stands.
- Wall art must be properly framed and wired for hanging.
- All art must be dropped off at the Pine Center for the Arts 10 am-5 pm on Tuesday, April 30 or 4-6 pm on Wednesday, May 1 or by arrangement.
- The deadline to submit the application is April 19, 2024.
- The Pine Center for the Arts reserves the right to refuse any submissions that do not comply with the Art Potluck guidelines or may not be suitable for our community. In the event that artworks are denied, a refund will be provided to the artist for any application fees paid.
The entry fee is $10 per artwork, and artists may submit up to 3 works of art. The fee is waived for artists 18 and under, and all students, regardless of age. All fees are used for marketing and facilitation of the group exhibit.
The Pine Center for the Arts retains a 10% commission on art sold.
People's Choice award will be selected and awarded a certificate a $50 gift certificate.
Best of Show will be awarded to a youth artist, age 18 or younger.
