What Reiki & Sound Healing Are
Reiki and Sound Healing are forms of complementary healing arts that support relaxation and enhance the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore balance. These practices are considered complementary to traditional healing arts services and do not require state licensing. (Refer to California Senate Bill SB‑577.)
What Reiki & Sound Healing Are Not
The client is advised that I am not a licensed physician or licensed healthcare provider. Reiki and Sound Healing are not substitutes for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment, and they are not forms of massage therapy. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment plans of licensed medical or mental‑health professionals. Clients should continue to seek appropriate care from licensed providers for any medical or psychological concerns.
Theory of Alternative Treatment
Stress, trauma, and illness can restrict the natural flow of energy within the body. Reiki and Sound Healing aim to restore balance to the body’s energetic system, supporting relaxation, nervous system regulation, and the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Education & Certification
I am trained, certified, and attuned through the Academy of Energy Healing (UK) as a Master‑Level Reiki Practitioner, Energy Healer, and Teacher. I am also trained and certified through The Virtued Academy International (UK) as a Breathwork and Meditation Specialist and as a Sound Healing / Frequency / Sound Bath Therapist. I integrate these modalities in both individual and group settings, including wellness and recovery environments.
Client Acknowledgment
By signing below, the client acknowledges that they have read and understood the information above, that Reiki and Sound Healing are complementary practices, and that they do not replace medical or psychological care. The client consents to receive services within this scope of practice.
