1. No over serving of alcohol will be tolerated under any circumstances.
2. No alcoholic beer or cider over 10% alc./vol. are to be served at the Festival.
Failure to adhere to this policy will result in the loss of vendor privileges without
notice and/or refund.
3. Vendors CANNOT be under the influence of alcohol at ANY TIME while
serving alcohol to consumers.
4. All persons responsible for serving alcohol or those coming in contact with
alcohol to be served in vendor’s booths must be “smart serve” certified. Vendors
are mandated to provide “smart serve” certification numbers for each individual
staff member. The Festival, in cooperation with the Alcohol and Gaming
Commission of Ontario, will enforce this program. No exceptions will be

5. NO cash transactions for alcohol are permitted between the vendors and the
consumers. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in loss of vendor privilege
without a notice and/or refund.
6. Serving prior to and/or after the Festival Hours of operation is not permitted
and free sampling is not permitted. These actions will result in loss of vendor
privileges without refund.
7. With the exception of vendor beer/wine bottles, which must be emptied into the
sampling glass by the vendor, no glassware is allowed on site under any
circumstance.
8. All menu items are subject to approval by Orléans Festivals. Only approved menu items will be allowed to be sold. Items not on this list will be asked to be removed. Failure to remove will result in the loss of vendor privileges without notice and/or refund.
9. Vendors may not share Vendor space without written consent of Orléans Festivals.
10. Beverage Vendors may not dispense food at any time.
11. Promotional items to be given away at the festival must be pre-approved by
Festival Management (i.e. whistles or noise makers, flying objects of any type will
not be accepted as promotional giveaways).
12. All Vendors must abide by local health, safety, alcohol and fire regulations and all
other laws.
13. All Vendors must maintain their booths in a clean, organized, and safe manner and all
accumulated trash must be bagged for pickup throughout the event. The Festival
reserves the right to clean up and bill for accured cost, the specific booth vendor(s) that do not comply.
14. Vendors’ booths must be fully operational throughout all posted hours of the
festival. Any vendor caught tearing down or leaving earlier than the times
indicated on the contract will be assessed a non-negotiable flat fee of $250.00.
15. Lost, stolen or damaged property used by the vendor (chairs, tables, lights, etc.)
belonging to Orléans Festivals will be charged back to the vendor.
16. All Vendors must have proper liability insurance in the amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) for participation in the festivals. Insurance must name Orléans Festivals, City of Ottawa, Colonnade Management Inc. (operating as Colonnade BridgePort), 1258606 Ontario Inc., as “additional insured”.
17. This agreement may not be assigned by the Vendor without the express consent
of the Orléans Festivals.
18. These Policies and Regulations are subject in the absolute and unfettered
discretion of Orléans Festivals upon reasonable notice to the Vendors.
19. The vendor assumes all responsibility for its property, including any and all loss,
theft, or damage to displays, equipment and other property while on the
premises of 255 Centrum Boulevard and hereby waives any demand or claim it
may have against 255 Centrum Boulevard (Orleans, Ontario, K1E 3X7), the Orléans Festivals, and
all service contractors, including its staff members and officers. Please note
security will be onsite.
