Armando Wisdom - American Heritage: Armando has been with the wrestling program his whole high career. He has never hesitated to assist an upper class man when he was young or stepping in as the mentor when he was a senior. Armando continually demonstrates willingness to learn and challenge his teammates through examples of always doing the right thing. He has tremendously raised the level of his peers and on and off mat.Christal Desir - Forest Hill: Christal Desir is the heart and soul of our wrestling team, a true warrior who leads with integrity, grit, and unwavering sportsmanship. She holds herself and her teammates to the highest standard, pushing past limits with relentless determination while lifting others up with her words and actions. In victory, she is humble; in defeat, she is gracious—always honoring the sport, her opponents, and the values that define true champions. Christal leads not just by skill, but by example, embodying discipline, ethics, and an unshakable moral compass in every match, practice, and moment of adversity.Seth Tshiams - North Fort Myers: Seth is any coaches dream athlete, on and off the mat. He has a 3.87 unweighted and 4.85 weighted GPA. He wasn't dealt the best hand in his life, lost his father at a very young age and was raised by his single mother. He is the most polite and humbled kid I've ever met, alway there for his teammates lifting them up.Maximus Brady - Mariner: Maximus Brady has been an inspirational ambassador for the sport of wrestling since he was 6 years old. His very early goal, one that was written with a young finger on a foggy car window, was to be a "4-Time State Champion." Max is currently a 3-Time State Champion with an overall record of 177-5. Maximus has eagerly sacrificed countless hours of his own time helping to coach, mentor, and inspire the next generation of our growing Tritons Youth Wrestling Club. His passion and effectiveness has generated countless compliments and appreciation of parents.Lexander Coleman-Tunsil - Lakewood: Lexander Coleman-Tunsil has had to face some difficulties in his life however he shown great determination in over coming those hardships since his freshman year of high school. He is now a senior and maintains a 4.1 grade average. Lexander is a leader to his peers and a great example to the younger students.Madden Fredenburg - Cocoa Beach: He took 3rd in state last year and looks to place high this year as well. He has displayed true competitiveness and sportsmanship throughout. He also shines on the football field, in the classroom and at school as a "lead by example" technique. He is as grounded as a 16 year old can be, he only hopes to work harder and get better day by day. With absolutely no behavior issues during his 10 years of schooling, this yound man is a prime example of a true sportsman, leader, ethical and integrity all rolled into one!Christina Borgmann - Flagler Palm Coast: Christina Borgmann is an outstanding student-athlete and aspiring nurse who excels in academics, athletics, and community service. She has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout high school while competing at the highest levels in wrestling, earning state, national, and international titles. Beyond her achievements in the classroom and on the mat, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to service through church-sponsored charitable work and organizations like Girls on the Run. Her leadership skills were further developed through Junior ROTC and her extensive athletic experiences, which have shaped her adaptability and resilience.Leonardo Trejos - Florida Christianl: Leonardo has been a team captain at FCS wrestling since 9th grade. He has always shown leadership qualities. He has supported his teammates even in times of his personal disappointment and difficulties. He’s never gave in to the obscene comments or behaviors from other wrestlers towards him. He truly leads his teammates by example.Jordan Pineda - Felix Varela: Jordan Pineda has been Wrestling for only two years and as a Senior he is a two year captain, two time District Champion, two time Regional champion, State Placer and two time State Qualifier. Jordan has a 3.5 G.P.A and is enrolled in AP courses. He devote his time to help young kids a few hours after every practice.Willie White - South Dade: Willie White is a quiet young man who wins with class, dignity and humility. He exemplifies sportsmanship on the mat in the classroom as well as on the football field. He is looked up to by his peers and is the most respectful young man that I have coached in 32 years of coaching. He epitomizes the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover" every time he steps foot onto that mat.Grace Leota - Hernando: Grace Leota has had a lasting impact not only on our girls’ team but also on the whole Hernando wrestling program. Grace is a natural leader who elevates everyone around her. She leads by example in her work ethic and integrity on and off the mat. Grace not only helped lead our team to a State Championship in 2024, but she leads the team Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle every week which covers topics on faith, accountability, teamwork etc. She also has been an example and volunteer coach with our youth wrestlers for the last three years.Sebastian Degennaro - Jensen Beach: This young man shows each and every time he's on the mat the utmost sportsmanship and class towards his opponents. Through wins or losses I always see him being gracious to those he faces and coaches around him. He seems to be a quiet leader and his teammates see his actions in his leadership.Mariah Mills - Flagler Palm Coast: Mariah Mills is not only a leader on her team but also a prominent figure in the Florida wrestling community. She has competed across the country and recently earned a bronze medal at the AAU World Championships overseas. Throughout her travels, Mariah has shared her love for wrestling by showcasing numerous Florida wrestlers on her family's social media platforms. She forms strong bonds with all of her opponents and coaches.Raymond Shaw - George Jenkins: Raymond Shaw exemplifies sportsmanship through his fair play and respect for opponents, even in challenging situations. His leadership is evident in the way he inspires and guides his team with confidence and responsibility. He demonstrates strong ethics by adhering to the rules and upholding moral principles, even when no one is watching. His integrity shines through his honesty, accountability, and commitment to doing what is right. Together, these qualities make him a role model both on and off the mat.Bluny Davilma- Somerset Academy: Bluny Davlima embodies all the qualities of sportsmanship, leadership, ethics, and integrity. His larger then life personality and smile endears him to everyone he meets in and out of our wrestling community. Coaches, administrators, and parents all smile when they encounter Bluny. He carries his faith with him in all situations on and off the mat, as well as in the classroom, always leads others with a bright light of positivity.Nathan Chen - Pine Crest: Nathan Chen exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and integrity. As team captain, he leads by example, pushing himself and his teammates to improve while always prioritizing the team’s success. Nathan competes with humility and respect, all while demonstrating a hunger and passion for success on the mat. Off the mat, he excels academically and gives back to the community, mentoring younger wrestlers and supporting school initiatives. His character, dedication, and positive influence make him a deserving recipient of this honor.Wyatt Leduc - Middleburg: Wyatt Leduc has been around the sport of wrestling since the age of 6. In this time, he has learned to win and lose with grace and humility, as well as lead by example on the mat and in the classroom. Wyatt makes it a point to build relationships outside of his own team for the purpose of sharing his love for the sport of wrestling with others. He walks into each tournament with a smile on his face, excited for the opportunity to compete, and is thankful for that opportunity. He can be seen talking with officials, his opponents, and other coaches during tournaments because he has built relationships with them throughout his career.Dario Duany - Lake Brantley: Dario consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to sportsmanship whether in victory or defeat and approaches every competition showing respect for all opponents, teammates, officials and coaches. His leadership extends beyond the mat looking to always motivate his teammates and push them beyond their limits. Dario’s honesty and sense of responsibility are qualities that inspire trust and confidence from everyone that he’s ever crossed paths with. He is also a 3X state qualifier and 2X state placer looking to end up on the podium again this weekend. Regardless of where he ends up he will do it with dignity and respect.
