This form is for those seeking to register a brand-new team that has never been registered before, even if those starting it have submitted with another team before.

Each team must have a team leader, and if that team leader is not present, the team can replace that team leader through a democratic vote before submission, in order to ensure that they can submit their work.

Whoever you elect as team leader must immediately go to Discord and type in the following command: !elected-lead. in "#bot-spam":

Do that now. Do it again if you still have it from last time.

This form should be filled out by the chosen team leader, screen-sharing the form with those on their team.

We will ask the team leader two private questions first, which they can fill in now before they share their screen.

But the real value we seek to provide is in connecting you with colleagues of complementary skills.

However, here at [P1], we deeply value people, and we don't want their time wasted.

Therefore, we ask that you don't hold on to bad ideas that don't make it through the competition.

Dropping your beloved ideas when they're not showing initial results, especially in game development, is absolutely key to success. You can't polish your way out of bad fundamentals.

We don't force teams to drop ideas, but from a people-first angle, please make sure your idea justifies the hard work people are putting into it.

The project should have a real shot at meeting your team's goals, not just in your view, but in the mentors' opinions too.

We love people, so don't waste their time. Kill ideas which are not getting recognition.

If you plan to continue your project, you must resubmit it to the next competition, put it on hold until you can submit it to a future one, or have a team member submit it for you.

As long as your project is hosted on our Discord, you'll have access to a fresh supply of people to work on your project.

Now we need to create your team's private space. You can only ever create one space, but you can always rename your space.

2️⃣ Use /add to add your team members to the channel.

Private Threads & Spaces

Never use private chats for work-related conversations. 

All of your chat communication from now on will happen in your team's space or private threads.

Only test games with other people in voice chat.

Meeting Time Zone

In [P1], teams pick a time zone and meet to work on their project for about an hour every day. Talk with your team about a suitable time.

Make sure people show up and work at the times you choose, as much as possible. Regular meetings are key.

Everyone on a team needs to buy the join pass relevant to that team. 

T1 = Teams led by people who have never submitted before.

T2 = Teams led by people who have submitted an Ignite Cycle project once.

T3 = Led by people who have been elected to the top 50% of a T2 team.

T4 = Top 50% of a T3 team.

 
It all depends on the leader; the members don't matter.

Type "/coins" to see how much Helpfulness you have:

Everyone who wants to join your team needs to buy the related pass.

Don't make a new Discord for your team or use Discord private chats.

You own your games: Anyone leading a project here can take it and move on anytime.

If you want to uproot your project from [P1], you are welcome to do so, but all of the members of your team have to leave the [P1] Games Discord wholesale together with you.

Our goal is to get people to the point where they don't need us anymore, so don't feel bad! Just decide together.

Now we'll list essential basics every team needs before attracting new members.

Make sure all your team members unlock the "🔓 Unlock Ignite Info":

Find the "team-list" channel:

Type in "Example" and click the 🔎 icon. Then read the "Example team" result.

Use the same format for your submission.

Legion name = leave blank for now.

Example team = Your team name.

Project name = You can skip this if you don't have one in mind yet.

Target platform = On what hardware you intend to deploy your project.

Engine = Unity, Unreal, etc., if applicable.

T2 = Made by a T2 member.

🔴 = Your division color. If you don't know what that is, don't add it.

The title should include tier listings: T1, T2, T3, and T4 for Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4, respectively. 

Anyone who bought the Cycle Submission form last time is a T2+ member.

Your team's forum post stores static info and helps others learn about your team if they want to join.

Here are things you'll want in your team's post:

Required Participation Level: [Specify the expected commitment level from team members, noting that teams meeting daily for at least an hour tend to have a higher success rate.]
