Worksheet #7: Alternate Facility Options
Agencies should identify at least two to three alternate facilities. One location can be close to the current operations – not next door, but within a short distance. The second alternate facility should be further away – at least five miles from the primary facility. A third alternate facility should be located within thirty miles to sixty miles away if appropriate.
