Employment Basics for Professionals

The presentation will cover:

• 1099 vs W2 work arrangements and what can and cannot be provided, tax implications
• How insurance plans work and how to assess what a plan is providing
• Reviewing value of other benefits: 401k plan; 125 plan; CEUs/CEU fund; Responsibility for treatment supplies or evaluation
• Review an example contract and the components of a contract
• Interview and Resume tips
• How to get licensure (available for students at the end)

When: Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
