Qualifications

This grant is available to first-time homebuyers AFTER closing, who meet ALL of the qualifications below. Do not apply until after official closing of the purchase. The amount of the grant is $1,000 for non-military, and $1,500 for current or former military members. Funds are limited and no amount is guarenteed.

No persons listed on the deed have ever in their lifetime held ownership interest or remainder interest in a residential property as a full owner, partial owner, or joint owner.I do not have, nor have ever had, a spouse that held ownership interest in a residential property during our marriage.This home is my primary residence.This home is located in Baldwin County.The purchase price is $350,000 or less.I am applying within 90 days after the purchase closing date.I completed a homeowner training course prior to the day of closing on the home.This home is subject to a bank mortgage of 15 years or more.The purchase was facilitated by a REALTOR member of Baldwin REALTORS.If the home is a mobile or manufactured home, the land on which the home sits was also part of the purchase.
