The AHDR Mini Camps is here ! In this program, young people aged 12–17 in Cyprus will get together to build friendships, break down stereotypes, and nurture a foundational understanding of Culture of Peace and Non-Violence.
Led by expert educators and facilitators, our Mini Camps offer a diverse array of activities in peace education and sports, facilitating meaningful dialogue and deepening mutual understanding and respect among different communities of Cyprus.
Initially, participants will attend a peace education workshop in their community, followed by a two night Mini Camp retreat in Nicosia. During the retreat, they will engage in workshops at the Home for Cooperation in the Ledra Palace buffer zone during the day, spending most of their time together. Afterwards, they return to their communities and stay in designated hotels in Nicosia.
